Easy. Slow. Quiet. 2010

St.Petersburg label "56 stuff" released a compilation Easy.Slow.Quiet.
from various artists including the track "On Roof" The Inay.

A remedy for bustle and noise, lousy weather and bad mood. This compilation comprises compositions with a tranquilizing effect. ESQ is a new button on a life's imaginary keyboard, offering an escape from fuss and nervousness of our environment.

This compilation was intentionally released at the end of the year, which always gets tense and hyped up; still, it will remain functional in other seasons too. "Easy. Slow. Quiet"s relaxing effect is guaranteed year-round and worldwide.

Ray Carmen, and his album "Too Old For Angst" (review)

May 29, 2006. Warm Morning. Feeling little strange. Further repairs of flat and recording of music for youth theatrical-studio. Midday... The long-awaited letter from Ray Carmen has arrived. CD with an album "Too Old For Angst" and "The Cut And Paste Records" a small catalog with a small message and an autograph from Ray. First impressions, that I have a "bomb" in my hands. But after I have heard and examined the CD, the catalogue and read the message, I smiled. Music is simply excellent. And there is an idea and general mood. Very pleasant voice and the second voices too. Sound of old synthesizers and sometimes easy crackling noise of a magnetic tape. All is very organic. And similar to epoch 70 and 80`s. I think that i understood feelings and idea but shall not speak more. Let everyone draw for their own conclusion. From myself many thanks and my respect to Ray.

"Too Old For Angst" (released 1997-1999) has a folky / progressive sound. Includes the November EP, which is almost all acoustic. Includes My Bloody Valentine meets Nick Drake epic Monster. 16 songs.

Small fragments of songs: "Hello In There", "Amtrak To Pittsburgh", "Prize Possession" from album "Too Old For Angst"

Evening (old note)

Rainy, grey days of spring Evening. Thin lines of the light. Blinking of the screen and computer noise. Everything is intertwined with the gentle patterns of the synthesizer sounds and the electronic pulse of the rhythm of machines. I turn on an old radio receiver of 60's. Crash, clicks, hissing, voices, all merges with the beautiful melodies of the planet. I haven't listened to the radio for a long time already. I spend a lot of time on a debut album, on searching and realization of the material. Yet unsuccessfully. For the time being I've received only one offer... I have also important tasks before-reduction, mastering
